MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Indian shares opened higher, recovering from Friday's fall, on firm Asian markets, dealers said.At 0430 GMT, the Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex was up 91.12 points or 0.64 pct at 14,253.83. The National Stock Exchange's S&P CNX Nifty rose 0.56 pct to 4,195.00.In BSE-30, 28 shares were up, while 2 were down. In the broader market, there were 506 advances against 99 declines.Global leads were also positive today. Other Asian markets rose today after stocks on Wall Street closed higher on Friday on tame US core consumer inflation figures.Banking shares advanced in early trade on expectations that banking companies will post good earnings numbers in the first-quarter.
