China June nominal retail sales up 16 pct yr-on-yr - Stats Bureau

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China retail sales in June rose 16 pct year-on-year, the National Bureaus of Statistics (NBS) said in a statement.

In the first six months retail sales increased 15.4 pct from a year earlier, the NBS added.

In May, retail sales rose 15.9 pct year-on-year to 715.8 bln yuan. Retail sales in the five months to May were up 15.2 pct at 3.502 trln yuan.
