TAIPEI (XFN-ASIA) - The central bank said it drained a combined 46.95 bln twd from the money market via offers of negotiable certificates of deposit, including 27.55 bln twd via 30-day NCDs at a fixed rate of 1.98 pct.The bank also drained 18.20 bln twd via an offer of 91-day NCDs at 2.06 pct and 1.20 bln twd via 182-day NCDs at 2.15 pct, it said.At 3.30 pm, the average overnight interbank rate was quoted at 2.038 pct, compared with the previous close of 2.039 pct, dealers said.(1 usd = 32.60 twd)philip.wang@afxasia.comxfnpw/xfnrcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
