AMD's planned share sale not to affect its ratings, outlook - S&P

MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said Advanced Micro Devices Inc's planned sale of up to 700 mln usd of common stock will not affect its 'B' rating or negative outlook on the company.

The agency said it views the transaction as favourable to the business, but it may not affect the underlying competitive challenges facing the company.
