COPENHAGEN (Thomson Financial) - Shares were slightly up in quiet midmorning midmorning trade, but ALK-Abello AS was sharply higher, rebounding after heavy losses Friday.

At 10.20 am, the OMXC20 index was up 2.19 points at 476.08 and the OMXCB Benchmark index gained 2.87 points to 451.13.

ALK-Abello AS was up 95.00 dkr at 725.00, rebounding after losing a third of its value on Friday following disappointing trial results in the US for allergy treatment Grazax.

Analyst Torben Vest at Standard & Poor's said Friday's slump may have been an overreaction, but added the ALK-Abello share is unlikely to regain all of its lost terrain as uncertainty regarding Grazax has now increased.

Vestas Wind Systems AS gained 7.00 dkr to 452.50. Berlingske Business said, citing the publication Oekonomisk Ugebrev, that the wind turbine maker is under pressure in China as local competition increases.

Carlsberg AS added 5.00 dkr to 651.00. Daily Boersen said Scottish & Newcastle PLC, which the Danish brewer and Heineken NV aim to take over, seeks full control over BBH, which it runs as a joint venture with Carlsberg.

AP Moller Maersk AS was down 200 dkr at 66,300. Berlingske Business said, citing Boersen, that the transport group faces stagnating freight rates next year as competition grows and demand slows down.

Coloplast AS gained 6.50 dkr to 474.50 ahead of tomorrow's full year report. Analysts polled by RB Boersen news agency expect the medical equipment company to post a full year pretax profit of 910 mln dkr, on sales of 8.099 bln dkr.
