MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Mediaset SpA's CEO Giuliano Adreani said the group's advertising revenues in April are 'going fairly well' after a poor first two months of the year.'In March, there was a sharp improvement in the general advertising market and April for us is going fairly well,' Adreani said, speaking at the shareholders meeting.Mediaset CFO Marco Giordani said the group is in talks with banks to open a credit line to fund its bid for Endemol.Giordani declined to say if the amount of the credit line being sought is 2 bln eur.A recent press report said Mediaset, together with Goldman Sachs and John De Mol, is close to agreeing to a 2 bln eur financing package to be used if its bid on Endemol is successful.stephen.jewkes@thomson.comsj/jagCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
