Updates with date of pre-selection announcementMADRID (AFX) - Grupo Ferrovial SA's Cintra unit, Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA's Dragados unit and Acciona SA are all bidding for a 35-year highway concession in Montreal, according to the Quebec government website.The project is worth some 600 mln eur, Spanish press reported.The government website said the three constructors have formed consortia for bids to design, build and manage a link in the A-30 highway in Montreal, which would run south through to the US.Cintra is part of a consortium including Teknika HBA and RBC Marches des Capitaux, while Acciona and ACS have joined in a consortium which includes Iridium and Groupe Axor Inc.Pre-selected candidates for the concession will be announced Feb 16, with detailed proposals to be submitted in the spring.afxmadrid@afxnews.comccs/jdy/jdy/icCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
