LONDON (AFX) - Network Rail is poised to award property giant British Land Co PLC a lucrative contract to oversee the redevelopment of London's Euston train station, the Evening Standard reported without citing sources.The redevelopment is to extend the station's crowded concourse to 21 platforms, from the current 18, helping out incumbent rail operators Virgin Trains and Silverlink,.It will also give the green light to the regeneration of a 15-acre site close to the massive redevelopment of King's-Cross-St-Pancras, the London newspaper said.nick.huber@afxnews.comnh/amCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
