ThyssenKrupp expects resolution to Dofasco after April 26 |

DUESSELDORF, Germany (AFX) - ThyssenKrupp AG chief executive Ekkehard Schulz said at today's AGM that he does not expect a resolution to his company's long-running attempt to acquire Arcelor Mittal's Dofasco until after April 26.ThyssenKrupp and Mittal Steel signed an agreement last year which runs through April 26, 2007, in which Mittal agreed to sell Dofasco to ThyssenKrupp if Mittal merged with Arcelor.Since that time, Arcelor and Mittal have merged, but ThyssenKrupp has been unable to acquire the Canadian steel company.ThyssenKrupp has also sued Arcelor Mittal over the matter in a Rotterdam court.
