China's AsiaInfo wins business intelligence contract from Chongqing Mobile

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's AsiaInfo Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:ASIA), a provider of telecom software solutions and IT security products and services, said it has won a contract from Chongqing Mobile, a subsidiary of China Mobile, to expand and upgrade its business intelligence (BI) system.

Chongqing Mobile's existing BI system, which currently supports over 10 mln subscribers, was deployed by AsiaInfo in 2003.

Under the new agreement, AsiaInfo will expand and upgrade the BI system to accommodate subscriber growth and increasing demand for data analysis, AsiaInfo said in a statement.

Financial terms of the agreement were not provided.
