NEWPORT, N.H. (AFX) - New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares Inc., parent company of Lake Sunapee Bank, said Friday it declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 13 cents per share payable Jan. 31 to shareholders of record as of Jan. 24.The company also said its board of directors approved a stock repurchase up to 214,679 shares, or 5 percent, of its outstanding common stock.Shares of New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares fell 18 cents to $15.98 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
