MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Intesa Sanpaolo SpA CEO Corrado Passera said that the sale of 198 branches for antitrust reasons is proceeding according to schedule with an offer deadline set for the end of this month.'Everything's going according to schedule and I think there's a deadline at the end of August,' Passera said.Sourced media reports said that the Antitrust ruling requires binding offers for the 198 branches to be presented by the end of this month.stephen.jewkes@thomson.comsj/sljCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
