FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The European Central Bank said net foreign currency reserves in the eurosystem rose by 100 mln eur to 142.1 bln in the week to Nov 16 from the previous week.The ECB said banknotes in circulation within the eurosystem -- which comprises the ECB and the central banks of the euro zone countries -- decreased by 1.5 bln eur to 640.6 bln.The gold position fell by 53 mln eur to 185.420 bln.frederik.richter@thomson.comfr1/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
