Greek Shares AFX at a glance outlook

ATHENS (AFX) - The market is expected to open slightly higher on positive sentiment in European bourses.

Yesterday, the market was closed to mark the start of Greek Orthodox Lent.

On Friday, the Athens Stock Exchange general index closed flat at 4,722.7 points as losses by Hellenic Telecoms (OTE) and lottery operator OPAP offset gains for Viohalco and Folli Follie, dealers said.

Q4 Central Government Debt released

WEDNESAY:

National Bank of Greece may release FY06 results consensus forecasts expect group net profits to rise 40.4 pct to 1.021 bln eur

Hellenic Petroleum FY06 results released median forecasts expect that net profits will fall 27.9 pct to 241 mln eur from 334.2 mln eur.

Titan Cement FY06 results released group net profits are expected to rise 31.7 pct year on year to 276.8 mln eur.

Greek balance of payment for 07.

PRESS REPORTS:

-Mytilineos may sell 43 pct stake in unit ELVO, according to press reports in newspaper To Vima.

-JV of FCC, Pantechniki, Attikat and Proodeftiki appealed to the Ministry of Public Works the award of Central Greeces BOT project to GEK-CINTRA-ACS JV- according to unconfirmed press reports
