ATHENS (AFX) - Greek lottery operator Intralot is preparing a tender for video lottery terminals in Poland through Polish lottery operator Totalizator Sportowy (TS), according to UK site InterGame.Intralot, which already owns Polish bookmaking company Totolotek, may have to spend 76.8 mln eur on technical infrastructure, InterGame said. The interest in video lottery has been spawned by the successful Awards with Prizes market in Poland, which offered profits of 345 mln eur last year, even more than gains from regular lottery, InterGame added.Intergame also predicts that two other foreign companies likely to be involved in the tender process are Scientific Games and G-Tech.Source: Euro2day.gr NewsWirecheryl@euro2day.grcn/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
