Merck CFO Judy Lewent retiring

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. (AP) - Drug developer Merck & Co. said Tuesday Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Judy C. Lewent is retiring.

Lewent, 58, has been CFO for 17 years. She joined the company in 1980 and became vice president and treasurer in 1987 and vice president for finance and CFO in 1990.

The company said it is searching for a replacement.
