BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Eagle Investment Group and Bear Stearns will form a 500 mln usd alliance to focus on China's retail sector.Bear Stearns and Eagle will each invest 250 mln usd, the companies said in a joint statement.The statement added that the alliance will work in conjuction with Bear Stearn's private equity arm, Bear Stearn's Merchant Banking.Eagle chairman Wong Kwong Yu is the founder of Gome Electrical Group.bjburo@xinhuafinance.com
