Sara Lee changes international structure |

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (AP) - Food and household products maker Sara Lee Corp. said Tuesday it will eliminate 11 management positions in its international segment, including that of division Chief Executive Adriaan Nuhn.Vincent Janssen, chief executive of the household and body care division, and Frank van Oers, chief executive of coffee and tea, will now report directly to Sara Lee Chairman and Chief Executive Brenda C. Barnes.Sara Lee's international bakery segment, led by Miguel Llado, group president of bakery Europe, will report to van Oers.The new structure will be implemented by December 2007. The company said the changes are meant to better align its international management structure with its plan to move Sara Lee closer to becoming an 'integrated operating company.'The headquarters for the reporting segments will continue to be based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and the local management structures will remain unchanged.Sara Lee shares rose 5 cents to $16.64 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
