LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Autonomy Corporation PLC said technology services firm Unisys has named it a preferred supplier of data processing technologies, for Unisys' offerings to the UK police force.No financial details were disclosed.Under the terms of the new arrangement, Autonomy and Unisys will create a joint sales force, combining Autonomy's software with Unisys's specialist integration competencies for the UK investigative and intelligence sector, the company said.Autonomy and Unisys are currently working together to provide more forces with the full range of Autonomy's advanced data retrieval and processing functionality, after earlier collaborating on a data management system for the Home Office, called Holmes.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comran/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
