HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - The price of PIX Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft averaged 594.62 eur per tonne in the week ending August 19, up 8.54 eur from the previous week, Foex Indexes Ltd said.In dollar terms, the PIX NBSK was unchanged at 800.00 usd.Foex, a provider of audited, trade-mark registered pulp and paper indexes, said the PIX Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (BHKP) price index rose 11.09 eur during the same week to 529.38 eur per tonne.Among the key paper grades, the price of light weight coated (LWC) paper edged lower 1.49 eur to 671.61 eur.Coated wood-free paper declined 1.49 eur to 709.45 eur, while newsprint was 0.23 eur lower to 539.45 eur.PIX data is compiled using price information from buyers, sellers and agents.azer.sawiris@thomson.comafs/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
