Spain July tourist arrivals up 1.8 pct to 7.7 mln

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - The number of tourists arriving in Spain rose 1.8 pct in July from a year earlier to 7.7 mln, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism said.

In the seven months to July, the number of tourists arriving in Spain reached 33.8 mln, up 2.0 pct from a year earlier, marking a new record for international tourists in the country.
