Helsinki shares up early afternoon led by Nordea; Outokumpu falls |

HELSINKI (AFX) - Helsinki shares were slightly higher in early afternoon trade, led by Nordea, but with Outokumpu underperforming on a report that it is cutting the price of its stainless steel for deliveries this spring, traders said.At 1.23 pm, the OMX Helsinki 25 index was up 0.12 pct at 3,114.90 points, while the OMX Helsinki was up 0.18 pct at 10,461.73 points on a volume of just short of 500 mln eur.Outokumpu was off 3.59 pct to 29.53 eur. The group is reducing the price of April deliveries of stainless steel by about 200 usd per tonne to 1,650-1,700 usd, the website of Finnish business paper Arvopaperi said, citing Metal Bulletin.Rautaruukki was little changed, down 0.16 pct to 37.13 eur, while YIT was down 0.80 pct to 27.18 eur.Nordea advanced 1.33 pct to 12.19 eur after the bank presented a positive outlook for 2007, while also beating market expectations in its fourth-quarter report, analysts said.
