PARIS (AFX) - TF1 chief executive Patrick Le Lay said at an analyst conference he expects advertising revenues to rise by between 6 and 8 pct in 2007.Advertising revenues grew just 3.7 pct in 2006, but Le Lay said the rise for Jan 2007 was 6 pct and that this pace should be maintained through February. At the same time, however, he stressed the lack of visibility in the market, where clients increasingly cut advertising spending at short notice.'Before... we could be pretty sure of our revenues for the next 40 days. Now we can only reasonably predict revenues for the next day,' Le Lay said. The CEO also pointed out major retailers were granted authorisation to advertise on television in Jan 2007, adding TF1 has taken a 60 pct share of new advertising spending in the sector.paris@afxnews.comafp/vb/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
