Merrill Merchants boosts dividend

BANGOR, Maine (AP) - Merrill Merchants Bancshares Inc., the parent of Merrill Merchants Banks in Maine, on Tuesday said it declared a quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, up a penny from the previous quarter.

The dividend is payable April 30 to shareholders of record as of April 13.

Merrill operates banks in central and eastern Maine.
