Marvel to partner with Dubai theme park |

NEW YORK (AP) - Marvel Entertainment Inc. has agreed to license its super hero characters, including Spider-Man and X-Men, to United Arab Emirates-based Al Ahli Group, which is developing a theme park in Dubai.Al Ahli Group will invest $1 billion to build the park, which is scheduled to open in 2011.Financial terms of the licensing agreement were not disclosed. A Marvel spokesperson said the company will see revenue when the theme park opens.Marvel said it is beginning talks with the developer to partner on additional projects in the region.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
