Nokia Siemens Networks, Cisco to cooperate in standards-based network platform |

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) said it has signed an agreement with US company Cisco to develop standards-based network platform that will help service providers to align their network capabilities and costs with business demands.NSN will provide its end-to-end telecommunications capability and R&D, while Cisco will offer its strong Internet Protocol (IP) competence in the jointly developed platform.No financial details were disclosed.azer.sawiris@thomson.comafs/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
