Carnival's Ratcliffe to retire in March |

MIAMI (AP) - Carnival Corp., the world's largest cruise group, said Thursday P&O Princess Cruises International Chief Executive Peter Ratcliffe will retire in March.Ratcliffe, 59, said in a statement that his goal was to retire by his 60th birthday. He will retire on his birthday, March 6.The company promoted David Dingle to CEO of Carnival UK, whose brands include P&O Cruises, Ocean Village and Cunard Line. He will also serve as chairman of the Carnival PLC management committee with responsibility for P&O Cruises Australia.Dingle previously served as managing director of Carnival UK.Alan Buckelew was also promoted to CEO of Princess Cruises.
