PARIS (AFX) - Air China said it has ordered 345 mln usd of aircraft engines from the Safran-General Electric joint venture CFM for use on 24 Airbus A321 planes that it ordered last year for delivery in 2008-2012.The order is for the CFM56-5B engine, which according to CFM is used to power around 60 pct of Airbus A320 family planes.paris@afxnews.comafp/mjs/jsaCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
