MADRID (AFX) - Cintra Concesiones Infraestructuras SA said it has a preliminary pipeline of 44 projects worth 72.1 bln eur for between 2007-2008.

In a presentation for the group's Investor Day, Cintra said 17 projects worth 18.4 bln eur are in Europe, 23 projects worth 50.2 bln in North America and four projects worth 3.3 bln in Australia.

The group said it has 161 planned motorway projects, worth some 171.0 bln eur, with 108 motorways in Europe worth a total of 71.4 bln eur, 48 in North America worth 5.6 bln and five in Australia worth 3.9 bln.

'Europe and North America continue with the same growth trends of the last few years, in the number of projects as much as in the value of the projects,' the concessionary said.

'After a preliminary analysis, the North American market will continue to be a priority for Cintra in the coming years, taking advantage of the leadership position it has in that market.'

The company added that it has an order book of 21 projects for 2007, compared to 20 in 2006, with 13 in Europe, three in North America and five in Chile.

Cintra said it has four projects currently in the bidding process, the Mantova-Cremona (Italy), Central Greece, and two in the US on stretches of the SH-130 and the SH-121.
