WARSAW (AFX) - Fiat SpA plans to invest 250 mln eur in its Polish unit in 2007, the majority of which will be spent launching a new version of the Fiat 500 model, said Polish news agency Puls Biznesu.Fiat Auto Poland (FAP) CFO Czeslaw Swistak said: 'This year, we will spend 250 mln eur in Poland. Two thirds of this amount will be connected with the production of the 500 model.'This year, 58,000 Fiat 500 cars will be produced at its Tychy site in southern Poland. In 2008, production will rise to 120,000.'This is the minimum level.
