UK DMO to auction 625 mln stg in 50 yr gilts on Jan 25

LONDON (AFX) - The UK Debt Management Office said it will auction 625 mln stg in 50 year index linked Treasury gilts on January 25.

The issue matures in 2055, carries a yield of 1.25 pct and will be fully exchangeable with the same debt already in circulation.

The latest issue will take the amount of the debt in circulation to 4.588 bln stg.
