Voltalia sees 50 mw capacity in production by end-2008 |

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - French renewable energy generator Voltalia said it expects to have 50 megawatts of capacity in production by the end of 2008, thanks to the 20 mw which will be provided by the three power plants which it has under construction.For the nine months to September, revenues were 540,000 eur from the companies Biobar biomass plant a Bar-sur-Aube, France, it said.Voltalia also said it plans to transfer its quotation from the main Euronext Paris market to the more lightly regulated Alternext.Earlier this month the company raised its solar power capacity target to 100 mw by 2013 when it opened a 15.5 mw project in Greece.In August, Voltalia and local partner Parivolt launched a wind farm venture in Greece with the aim of developing 20 wind farms with a total capacity of 258 mw.Andrew.Newby@Thomson.coman/slmCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
