ThyssenKrupp's Uhde wins subcontract from Samsung for ammonia plant construction |

DORTMUND, Germany (Thomson Financial) - ThyssenKrupp AG unit Uhde GmBH said it has been commissioned by South Korea's Samsung Engineering Co Ltd to provide engineering and supply services as part of a 950 mln USD ammonia plant contract awarded to Samsung.It said the 950 mln contract was awarded by Ma'aden, the Saudi Arabian mining company.No specific value was given for Uhde's share of the contract but the company did say it is valued in the three-digit millions of euros.marilyn.gerlach@thomson.commog/cwCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
