PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Caisse d'Epargne rejected a report that it wants to modify the governance structure of investment bank Natixis, which it jointly owns with fellow mutually-owned banking group Banque Populaire.Caisse d'Epargne underlined 'the effectiveness of Natixis' governance which proved itself, for example, during the 'subprime' crisis'.French daily Les Echos reported this morning that Caisse d'Epargne wants to modify governance at Natixis in order to end the dual role of Philippe Dupont, who is both CEO of Banque Populaire and president of Natixis.tfn.paris@thomson.comgt/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
