NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Zenith National Insurance Corp. Monday said third-quarter net income was $64.5 million or $1.73 a share, beating the mean estimate of three analysts polled by Thomson Financial of $1.67 a share.Revenue for the Woodland Hills, Calif.-based insurance company fell to $215.4 million from $258 million in the year-ago period.Shares of Zenith rose 1.4% to $44.59 on Monday.Ryan Vlastelicarv/pcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
