PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Suez said a unit of its Suez Environment division has won a 22-year, 123 mln eur waste sorting contract from the town of Ales, France, and will use new technology combining mechanical and biological methods in the facility it will build for the purpose.Suez Environment is slated to be spun off by Suez in its planned merger with Gaz de France, with GDF-Suez holding a 35 pct stake and having a pact with key Suez shareholders who own at least another 12 pct.tfn.paris@thomson.commjs/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
