MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), India's largest maker of power generation equipment maker, said it won an order worth 21.08 bln rupees from Maithon Power Ltd to supply steam turbines and generators.Under the contract, BHEL will supply and install two 525 MW units at the Maithon Right Bank Thermal Power Project in the northeastern Indian state of Jharkhand.Maithon Power Ltd is a joint venture company of Tata Power Co Ltd and Damodar Valley Corp.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comyos/ssa/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
