Outokumpu Technology wins precious metals plant order from China's Tongling |

HELSINKI (AFX) - Outokumpu Technology said it has won a contract to supply China's Tongling Nonferrous Metals with a precious metals plant in one of its copper smelters.The new plant will be used in the treatment and refining of copper anode slimes.The Finnish group did not disclose the value of the order, but noted that it is normally an investment of 10-15 mln eur.The plant is set to be functional by the end of 2008.azer.sawiris@afxnews.comafs/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
