NEW YORK (AP) - Casual dining restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday Inc. said Thursday it plans to develop 25 restaurants in the Middle East that will open over the next seven years.The restaurants would be located in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, the chain said.Ruby Tuesday said the restaurants would be operated by the National Arabic Company for Restaurant Management of Kuwait City (NAC).The NAC said it will create an employee training center in Kuwait City, modeled after the chain's training complex in Tennessee.Ruby Tuesday already has four restaurants in the Middle East, in Kuwait City and Abu Hlaifa, Kuwait, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. More restaurants already are scheduled to open in Dubai City, United Arab Emirates, and in Cairo, Egypt.Ruby Tuesday shares fell 12 cents to $30.04 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
