(Adds detail)LONDON (AFX) - Pharmaceutical group Pfizer Inc said a US appeals court has reversed a lower court ruling that upheld the company's US patent covering amlodipine besylate, the active ingredient in the popular high blood pressure medication Norvasc.Pfizer said it is reviewing the decision by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and is considering all its options, including seeking a reconsideration.The company said generic drug maker Apotex filed the appeal after a lower court in the Northern District of Illinois had ruled that the patentwas valid and enforceable.'Pfizer disagrees with this decision.
