CORRECTION - China to promote A-share listings for SOEs - report

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) will promote A-share listings for six key state-owned groups with listings overseas, the 21st Century Business Herald reported, citing a unnamed CSRC official.

The six are PetroChina, unit of China National Petroleum Corp; CNOOC Ltd, unit of China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC); China Mobile Ltd, unit of China Mobile Communications Corp; China Telecom Corp Ltd, unit of China Telecommunications Corp; China Construction Bank; and China Shenhua Energy, unit of Shenhua Group.

The SOEs all said they have been preparing for A-share listings, but have no timetables to do so, the report said.
