BBVA ready to sell 7.3 pct stake in Iberia - BBVA source

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA is ready to sell its 7.3 pct stake in Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA, a source from the bank said.

Earlier, a report in bolsacinco.com said that BBVA and Caja Madrid (with a 10 pct stake) are preparing a consortium for a possible offer for Iberia and are in contact with potential private equity partners.
