WASHINGTON (Thomson Financial) - The White House has denied a US media report that it could close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp soon.'No decisions on the future of Guantanamo Bay are imminent and there will not be a White House meeting' on Friday, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.The Washington Post on Friday cited 'numerous officials' as saying that top members of President George W Bush's administration were talking about closing the camp on a US naval base in Cuba where around 375 'war on terror' detainees are being held.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comsljCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
