BANGKOK (XFN-ASIA) - Sixteen soldiers and civilians are in police custody in connection with the deadly New Year's Eve bombings in Bangkok, a senior military officer said.Army Lieutenant General Prayudh Chan-ocha said police have opened investigations into the possible involvement of the 16 people in the blasts that killed three and wounded more than 40.'They have been asked to come in for questioning, to give authorities information,' Prayudh told Agence France-Presse.'They are not under arrest or charged with anything,' he added.Prayudh denied to give further details on the investigations, or to say which branches of the armed services the soldiers belonged to.afp
