ATHENS (AFX) - Greek betting technology company Intralot said that it received an unfavourable decision from a chamber of the Turkish Administrative Court of Appeals with respect to the ongoing court case filed by G Tech's Turkish unit on the decision by the Public Tender Authority and the General Directorate of Youth and Sport to award a fixed odds betting tender to Intralot's unit Inteltek. The company noted that this is an interim decision and the final decision of the chamber of the Court of Appeals is expected to be rendered within the next months and in any case the parties have the right to appeal. However, sources have said to Euro2day Newswire that there is a unanimous Council Court of State decision that cannot be overturned easily that deems the process under which the fixed odds betting game was granted unlawful and within a month Inteltek will cease its operations. At 2.25 pm Intralot was falling 14.3 pct to 24.3 eur, and the ASE general index was 0.4 pct lower at 4,657.3 points.skrekas@euro2day.grns/rarCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
