Nasdaq extends Marvell filing deadline |

NEW YORK (AFX) - Bermuda-based chip maker Marvell Technology Group Ltd. said Monday that it was granted a filing extension by the Nasdaq Stock Market to file its second- and third-quarter 2006 financial results by March 7.Marvell previously announced it received two noncompliance notices from Nasdaq for failing to file those results on time as it reviews its historical stock option grants practices.The Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel will allow the company to continue to list its shares on Nasdaq on the condition that the company also file the results of its options review by the March 7 deadline.Shares of Marvell were down 48 cents, or 2.6 percent, at $17.97 in morning trading on the Nasdaq.
