Smiths Group unit wins RAF logistics deal worth up to 52 mln usd from Lockheed

LONDON (AFX) - Smiths Group PLC said its aerospace unit has won a five-year contract, with an option for five more, worth up to 52 mln usd from Lockheed Martin Corp to provide logistics support to the Royal Air Force.

Smiths Aerospace will provide performance-based logistics support for the RAF's fleet of C-130 J/K Hercules aircraft, the group said.
