Helsinki shares close slightly lower; Elisa, TietoEnator outperform

HELSINKI (AFX) - Helsinki shares closed slightly lower, led by a fall in utility Fortum, though there were sharp gains for TietoEnator and Elisa, the bourse's second biggest climber, traders said.

The OMX Helsinki 25 index closed down 0.17 pct to 2,936.66 points, with the OMX Helsinki all-share index off 0.30 pct to 9,681.55 on turnover of over 1.59 bln eur. The Hex Tech gained 1.15 pct to 1,186.93 points.
