TOLEDO, Ohio (AFX) - Fifth Third Bank said Tuesday it will move workers from its downtown office into the city's tallest building, which was once home to glass container maker O-I.About 350 bank workers should be in the 32-story building by the end of the year, the company said. The blue-glass tower along the Maumee River will be named Fifth Third Center at One SeaGate.Fifth Third will lease space in the building, and the building's owner, RVI Group, will purchase Fifth Third's current home in downtown.O-I left the building last year and moved into a new headquarters in suburban Perrysburg. The move left eight floors vacant.Fifth Third Bancorp, based in Cincinnati, operates 19 affiliates with 1,155 banking centers and 2,099 Jeanie ATMs in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Missouri.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
