PARIS (Thomson Financial) - France Telecom mobile phone unit Orange has not won the rights to market the Apple iPhone in France, and with various mobile operators still in talks with the US company a decision may take a number of weeks, Orange executive director Louis-Pierre Wenes said in an interview with Paris Match magazine.Reports that Orange had secured the rights helped to fuel gains in France Telecom's share price last week.'A launch date of September, as some reports have said, seems to me impossible,' Wenes said, adding an iPhone launch could happen in the fourth quarter as Apple initially planned.tfn.paris@thomson.commjs/wjCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
